Hi, I’m Marissa Knight! Thanks for stopping by my site.
Here is a little about me: I am a mom, attorney (semi-retired), children’s book author, certified life and confidence coach and I am married to my best friend. I am raising 3 very unique and beautiful boys. Raising my boys has taught me so much about myself, the differences in people, and truly what is important in life.
My boys are my biggest treasure and I have been blessed with an extraordinary family. They are not perfect and honestly, every day presents a new challenge.
The challenge of being a good mom, a good wife, a good friend, and the realization that all of us, especially the boys, have different needs each day. I have a mission to be my boys biggest advocate. Our culture isn’t always kind to boys, and I am here to tell you, I am learning along with them.
I struggle every day to not get caught in the comparisons that we all fall victim of. My goal is “the big picture!” Although there is no rule book, I believe as long as every day I give it my best, I cannot go too terribly wrong.
My goal is to empower others and myself, to be honest, and proud of the blessings we have been given. (both the good stuff and the bad stuff). One thing that I have learned is that life isn’t always how we had pictured it would be, but that’s OK. It’s actually better than OK! Check out my coaching page for more info.

Our life is chaotic and messy but I keep going back to the words “God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength but with your testing, he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). In short…“God will never give you more than you can handle.”
Join me as I create my own individual painting of what motherhood and parenting are really about while raising three unique boys. I promise this platform will be filled with authenticity, honesty, and humor all while discovering the big picture.
