Exercising, feeling good, and eating healthy are so important to my quality of life.

I love running outdoors and playing tennis. I regularly do a mix of home workouts in the morning in the garage. Typically, these workouts are about 30 minutes in length which is just enough time to put my mind in the right place. These workouts include barre, weight lifting, or active pilates. I try to do what feels good for my body that day.

Every morning following my workout I do a prayer mediation for approximately 5 minutes. I love this part of my routine because I am instantly reminded of my blessings. The podcast I listen to is called: “Your Daily Prayer”

I cook almost every night, and I try to maintain healthy habits. I do follow a plant-based diet. I do this for a variety of reasons but mainly to feel good inside and maintain a happy mental state. Every Sunday I steam/roast veggies, cook up some protein, as well as make some healthy carbohydrates so they are made and ready to eat. (rice and potatoes are a must for me every week). As a mom of three, having healthy food regularly made and available helps me to stay on track.

We only get one life so we need to make the most of it. For me, that is waking up each morning and feeling good about myself and what is ahead.
