Top Secret Sparkle Potion for Jewelry
Potion is only used for my diamonds, platinum, and gold jewelry
Ingredients
- A small glass jar
- Windex or any glass cleaner (1-2 cups) (Branch Basics- use the all purpose dilution to get to 1-2 cups)
- A few drops of dish soap, like Dawn or even Branch Basics works great! (If you use branch basics you do not need the Windex) 🙂
- Toothbrush soft bristle ‘used’
- Microwave (30-60) seconds just so it is hot and you can see the steam
- Oven Glove
You will not need anything expensive just a glass jar (no lid needed) container like this Fill with about 1-2 cups of Windex.
Add a couple (4-5) drops of dish soap.
Without a lid, microwave the solution in a glass container for 1 minute *WITHOUT JEWELRY*. Be careful when you remove it from the microwave as it is hot! I always use oven gloves!
Add all your jewels to this steaming almost boiling solution and allow to soak. 5-8 minutes will get the job done but you can do longer for sure. (I forgot and left for several hours).
Take your toothbrush and gently scrub. The solution will have loosened up a bunch of the gunk stuck in your jewelry. Whohoo!
