I have learned that you are my greatest gift

I have learned a new level of trust

I have learned a new level of love

I have learned how things do not come easy and how much one can attain with a good attitude

I have learned that people will always talk and how to ignore their selfish words

I have learned that everyone has struggles; we are just given them at different points in our lives

I have learned to pray for those who do not understand rather than to be angry

I have learned to be more patient

I have learned that you alone have made our family stronger, closer, and connected

I have learned to celebrate little victories and find beauty in small things everyday

I have learned to belly laugh at the silliest of the things

I have learned that God gives us all different gifts, but we are not privy to his plan or how it will play out

I have learned to give myself grace

I have learned to be more confident in myself, my beliefs, and in who I am

I have learned that this journey has just begun, and I have learned to embrace what lies ahead

I have learned to love God, love my family and to make the most of each moment

I have learned so much from you my son- You have taught me how to live!

1. Pray about everything- speak to God as your friend
2. Tell God what you need- Do not assume he knows
3. Be grateful in good times and bad
